Ready for production?

I'm currently researching a way to add plugin functionality into an application I'm working on at work.
The Managed Extensibility Framework looks like the solution to my problem.
Is it ready for production? If not when do you think it will be?

Thanks

The current release is still an early preview.  MEF will ship in a future version of the .NET framework.  It is still a work in progress so there will likely be feature changes, changes to the APIs, and bug fixes before then.

It is usable today but I would not recommend putting it into production without weighing the cost of dealing with API changes and possible bugs.  You do have the source code so you would have the option to fix bugs that you found, but of course this would require additional work on your part.

Thanks,
Daniel

Alright it looks like I'll just stick to using the System.Addin namespace in the 3.5 DotNET Framework.

Thank you also for responding so fast. :-)
