This sample is awesome But it requires re-inherit all usercontrols and controls to allow them import parts. My implementation is based on the given one but does not require to re-inherit controls and additionaly supports importing into masterpages, httphandlers and httpmodules. There's some good stuff in there, but this release could do with at least some hints on the design decsisions. Why is MEF used in this way and what is the goal of certain aspects of the code.
