CompositionInitializer.SatisfyImports for WPF

Is there a CompositionInitializer.SatisfyImports method for WPF in MEF 2 Preview 5?

Hi - no, because of some inherent difficulties relating to recomposable parts in this scenario, we are not planning a WPF version of this functionality in the coming release.

However, the fully-supported Microsoft.Composition package, which is compatible with the full .NET 4.5 Framework, provides a SatisfyImports() method of this kind. You can find more details on the new package here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/bclteam/archive/2012/05/30/mef-and-tpl-dataflow-nuget-packages-for-net-framework-4-5-rc.aspx and here: http://mef.codeplex.com/documentation. (I realize this may not be a viable option for you - just passing on the available information.)

Cheers,
Nick

I interpret your reponse as not available for a VS2010 environment with any current download from the codeplex site.  Is this correct?  Will there be a version that runs with .NET 4.0 for VS2010?

Thanks

John

That's correct - we are not planning a new release of this functionality for VS2010/.NET4.
